Delays and problems in Wales at Hospital A+E Departments

It has been reported by the BBC that due to higher demand over the festive period patients in Wales were asked not to attend A+E departments and not call an ambulance unless they have a life-threatening emergency.

It has been reported by the Liverpool Echo that over 1000 medical operations were cancelled in 2018 – 2019 in hospitals across Liverpool and Merseyside.

The most common reason for non-medical cancellation was lack of time.
