It’s not all doom and gloom with the NHS. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018, comedian, Mark Thomas, began touring a show that specifically concentrated on the NHS – Check Up. Whilst he highlighted the strengths of the NHS and commitment of its dedicated employees, he equally criticised the organisations complacency, under-investment and creeping privatisation. We are looking forward to his forthcoming shows and feel sorry for the next public body to be subject to his comedic scrutiny.
