Here at Gregory Abrams Davidson Solicitors, we have noticed an increase in claims concerning dental negligence.

Examples of dental negligence include a failure to treat tooth decay, nerve damage caused during dental treatment, a failure to properly undertake root canal treatment leading to the loss of the tooth, orthodontic errors, incorrectly fitting crowns / bridges or poorly designed implants.

At Gregory Abrams Davidson Solicitors, we have a specialist team of qualified Solicitors experienced in dealing with dental claims.  Although all funding options will be considered, the majority of our cases are funded by way of a Conditional Fee Agreement (No Win No Fee).

If a case is accepted, the client’s dental records will be obtained and a dental expert instructed to prepare a medico-legal report. If this is supportive, then a Letter of Claim will be drafted and sent to the dentist.

The dentist (usually through his insurers) will then have 4 months within which to investigate the dental negligence claim and provide a Letter of Response.   Under Court rules this Letter of Response must either admit or deny the claim giving specific reasons if there is a denial.

We will not only claim damages for injuries suffered as a result of the negligent dental treatment, but will also seek to recover any financial losses incurred, for example loss of earnings or travelling expenses.  Importantly, we will also seek to include in the claim the cost of any restorative dental treatment (such as dental implants) which is required as a result of the negligence.

Therefore if you believe you have suffered an injury as a result of poor dental treatment, we would recommend that you contact us to arrange a consultation with a specialist dental negligence Solicitor.

A candid photograph taken inside the modern, open-plan office of Gregory Abrams Davidson Solicitors. Five diverse employees are visible. Two men are seated at a wooden desk in the foreground, smiling at a woman in a grey sweater who is offering one of them a coffee cup from a tray, which also holds a small sign reading 'Thank You, Team! Acts of Kindness' and a plate of cookies. Another woman is standing to the right, smiling and looking down, and another employee is working in the background by the window. The company logo is prominently displayed on a large white wall panel, alongside a window view of a city skyline with historic and modern buildings, a '45 Years 1980 - 2025' plaque, and a 'CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY' poster listing charity support logos (Macmillan, Wear It Pink, Children in Need). The office has neat desks, multiple computers, and bright overhead panel lighting.
